Barely, and that is the whole point. The channel is a slim extruded aluminum track that tucks up into the eave line. From the street in daylight it reads as trim rather than as fixtures. Ask us to show you a daytime photo of a house we finished on your own block.
It depends on the size of the elevation and whether landscape or hardscape fixtures go on the same visit. We give you the actual number in the written quote after the on-site measure, rather than a figure on a web page.
It fastens into the fascia board wherever the roof allows, and every penetration is sealed as it is made. Done correctly it is no more invasive than hanging a gutter. Done badly it is a leak, so the sealing is checked before we leave.
You call us and we come out. It is usually a driver or a single bad connection rather than the whole run, so most of these are a short visit.
